The B1G1 Study Tour is happening in January 2018. We're returning to our very first Study Tour location, Kenya.

It's a life-changing tour you will remember forever. And it's ONLY for B1G1 Business Members, Partners and their team and family members.

Your tour includes:

  • 9 nights of life-changing experiences
  • all meals, transport, 3 domestic flights
  • accommodation at authentic boutique resorts
  • one night ‘camping’ in a village with villagers and their families
  • a 2-night stay in the Masai Mara to experience an unforgetable Safari
  • contributions to various life-changing projects
  • beautiful photos and memories for life

To see how life-changing it actually is, just spend 4 minutes watching this video from the original Kenyan tour in 2011.

B1G1 Study Tours:
A Life-Changing Journey for Good

Since we started the first boutique tour in 2011, B1G1 Study Tours have gradually become bigger, attracting many repeat participants who cannot get over the fact that there is nothing like these unique experiences to be part of annually.

Again, it's life-changing in so many ways.

Each B1G1 Study Tour normally accommodates up to 30 guests. But this Kenyan tour will be even more 'boutigue'. It is limited to only 22 guests because of the limited accommodation capacity. It also means that you will have a very intimate experience with some of the amazing B1G1 Partners and their team/family members.

A total of 11 tickets were released at the recent B1G1 Business for Good Conferences in Miami, Birmingham and Australia's Gold Coast. All of those tickets were fully sold immediately.

We are now releasing the remaining 11 seats for the rest of B1G1 Community.

This means it's really important to register quickly if you want to secure your place on this tour:

  1. Register right away — Please contact us if you have any questions.
  2. If the ticket is showing the fully booked or SOLD OUT status, please register to be on the Waiting List because there is still a chance that you can join (If there is extra space we will let you know by 10 August 2017)

The 2018 B1G1 Study Tour....

Visiting stunning projects, doing amazing things AND enjoying a 2-night stay in the Masai Mara to experience an unforgetable Safari. Explore all the possibilities, be excited and inspired and then register to secure your place immediately or email us (tour@b1g1.com) to clarify anything you'd like clarified.

Some questions you may have:

If I reserve my seat now, when do I need to confirm my participation by?

Since there are so many people who are interested in this tour, we need to ask all registrants to register with full payment to secure their seats. Cancellation within a week can be refunded fully, so please go ahead and reserve your seat(s) now. Even if you can only register to be on the Waiting List, you may have the chance to be on the tour. The final participant list will be confirmed on the 10th August 2017.

What is the cost and what's included in the tour fee

The priorit list cost of this tour is USD 3,790 (USD 3,290 for youth ticket) per person. The fee for registration after 31 July will be US$ 3,970. This covers all your meals, local transportation (including 3 domestic flights), accommodation for 9 nights (double/twin share), all the tour activities and special giving to the projects we are visiting. This fee does not include the international flights for you to get to Nairobi. Your request to have a single room cannot be accommodated at most of the boutique hotels we are staying. So, if you are travelling alone, we will likely be matching you with another great guest on this tour to be your room-mate where we cannot provide a single room arrangement.

What are the cancellation terms?

The ticket is fully refundable for one week after purchase. After this period, the following refund terms apply:

> 4 Months: Fully Refundable less US$450 non-refundable deposit*
2-4 Months: 40% Cancellation Charge
2 Weeks - 2 Months: 65% Cancellation Charge

< 2 Weeks: 100% No-Show Fee

*The non-refundable US$450 deposit will be used to cover the cost of cancellation. If there is any surplus, we will forward the remaining amount as contribution to the projects we are visiting during the tour.

Can I bring my children?

Family members of B1G1 Members and Partners are welcome to join us on the tour. However, the minimum age requirement is 13 years old because the B1G1 Study Tour schedule contain activities that may not be always be the best for younger children.

Where are other participants coming from?

The participants come from a wide range of B1G1 Businesses around the world. It's a great opportunity to connect with like-minded people from around the world.

I've never been to Kenya. Is it safe?

For this tour, we have selected a route within a safer part of the country. However, there are certain risks you might want to consider. Taking travel vaccines and Malaria medication is not complusory but we encourage everyone to look into the available travel advisory information and consider taking own precautions. Arranging appropriate travel insurance is complusory to be part of this tour so that your medical cost will be covered by insurance in case of emergency.

Which B1G1 Projects are we visiting during the tour?

We will be releasing fully detailed information later about the entire itinerary of the tour. For now, you can look at the World Youth International and SoWeCan projects listed on the B1G1 project list to get a deeper sense of the experience..

Is it ok for me to bring some gifts to give to the children we are visiting?

Any contributions that are made to various projects during the tour will be facilitated by our Worthy Cause Partner organisations carefully. We understand that some of the tourist activities (giving gifts and donations, visiting orphanages etc.) have created greater risk to the wellbeing of the local children in recent years. So, if you wish to make extra donations or give specific gifts, you are very welcome to enquire with the B1G1 Team first so that we can together find the most effective and empowering way to direct your gifts. We are so grateful for your care and generosity. Thank you!

All of us in the team are so looking forward to welcoming you. We know this is a life-changing tour. We are looking forward to sharing it with you.
